For his exhibition at Carpe Diem Max Frey brings pieces involving movement, which have been essential to his work for the last years. Ping Pong Half Pipe is an installation with table tennis balls, moved by an air blower to jump and fall, creating constantly new images. Light Rope combines a simple multi colored light chain with an ecstatic movement, which interacts with the space and the viewer. The Chandeliers, installed at the entrance hall of the Palace, are part of a series of works with lamps where the concept is to create a lamp shade painted out of rotating lights.

All these objects deal with motion, energy and perceptual phenomena, basic elements of all Frey ́s works.
